Program Overview

Arkansas YMCA Youth and Government is excited to host our second annual State Assembly in an all virtual format.

Arkansas YMCA Youth and Government serves students 9th-12th grade across Arkansas. We provide numerous civic engagement activities and the opportunity to learn about issues facing students.

State Assembly Information

The State Assembly will be April 16th-18th in an all-virtual format.  Student participants will have the opportunity to serve as a legislator. Additionally, for students looking to serve in a leadership position,  there will opportunities in the legislative chamber.

Student Participants will also need to download, print, and sign the Student and Safety Code of Conduct.

Online Bill Submission

All students attending the State Assembly have the option to research and write a bill on a state issue they believe is important to Arkansas.

Students writing bills should follow the Arkansas YMCA YAG Bill Template when writing legislation. Bills, using this template, must be submitted via email to
