Program Overview
The YMCA of Honolulu offers a High School (grades 9-12) Model Youth Legislature to students and schools across Hawai’i.
This year, representatives from across the state will participate in a civic experience that introduces them to the YMCA Youth & Government (YAG) program, strengthens public speaking and journalism skills, and connects participants with professional mentors and state leaders.
Getting Started
Whether you’re brand new to Youth & Government or have experienced Mock Trial, Debate, or other programs, here’s everything you’ll need as you get started:
- Learn how to join and plan your participation at your High School or YMCA
- View our calendar to see the dates for our program and other national events
- Need-based scholarships are also available for interested students.
