Our Model Youth Legislature builds student collaboration, confidence, and leadership. Through hands-on workshops and mentorship, students explore civic engagement and government in action.

Program Highlights

• Draft, debate, and pass bills in a model government.
• Network with peers across the state.
• Connect with policy makers and other officials.
• Build a campaign for our 2027 Youth Governor (eligible for a free trip to D.C this June).

Eligibility

• Open to all High School students (Grades 9-12) across Oahu
• $50 Participation Fee – Financial Support is available
• No prior experience with Civics or Youth Government required

• Public Speaking, Speeches & Debate – April 18th 2026
• Model Youth Legislature Weekend – April 25th 2026

• Priority enrollment deadline is February 6th 2026 with limited spaces available
