United Nations Assembly

UN Assembly Overview

Many Youth and Government programs also host a United Nations Assembly (Model UN) in addition to their Youth Assembly. These conferences allow students to take part in experiential learning process as Ambassadors and UN officials in simulated international diplomacy.

Our UN Assemblies usually model the primary organs of the United Nations – General Assembly, Security Council, Secretariat, International Court of Justice, and the Economic and Social Council – along with a variety of specialty program areas that varies from state to state.

Learning about the United Nations offers students the opportunity to experience the richness of cultures from around the world, develop empathy, and hone their critical thinking skills while engaging with a wide variety of perspectives and global issues.
